Key content: Students delve into the realms of history, culture, and individual experiences to consider how historical events (from the Great Migration to the Civil Unrest of 2020) can serve as a catalyst for positive change and empowerment.

Focus questions: How can we use art to tell stories about our community? Why is it important to tell these stories? How do these stories help us learn about activism and historical events?
